With WM7, Microsoft aims to perform catch up with all the lost ground due to the newer more modern operating systems.
Windows Mobile 7's interface is totally resigned from the bottom up and reports indicate that it
is similar to the Zune HD. Much emphasis is placed on a new friendly touchscreen UI with multi-touch technology. Expect pinch to zoom, kinetic scrolling, the usual.The homescreen will feature "titles" which are individual spaces to host your shortcuts, links to contacts or widgets. This is shown on the picture to your right.
Also in development is the emphasis on People. Similar to the concept of HTC Sense, the idea is to allow you to find the people you find often quickly and to know of their updates and status always.
The emphasis on People in the mobile scene is getting stronger and if Windows Mobile 7 gets this right, market share may increase.
The interface looks pretty demanding on the hardware section and probably legacy devices may not support this.
